Voice agents that speak your customers’ language

Customers call in their own language and sometimes switch from one language to another within the same sentence. The voice engine we use supports over 70 languages; Romanian and Russian are the ones Kallina uses daily on real calls, with native pronunciation, and any other language is configured and tested on your case before we promise it. The recording announcement is spoken in the language of the line, including Romanian, Russian or both.

What we do differently for Romanian

  • Diacritics in the scenario

The voice reads what is written in the prompt. Without ă, î, ș, ț, words like “să” or “vă” are pronounced incorrectly, so we write the scenarios with full diacritics.

  • Proper names

Streets, towns, surnames and product names are checked in test calls and written the way they should be spoken.

  • Digits and amounts

Phone numbers, times and prices are phrased in the scenario so that the agent says them clearly, in groups.

  • Short replies

In Romanian, sentences tend to run long easily. A good agent replies briefly, so it can be interrupted without effort.

Two languages on the same line

We choose the model depending on how your clients sound.

One agent, two languages
The agent starts in Romanian and switches to Russian when the caller speaks Russian. Suitable for a single line.
Two agents
One agent for Romanian, another for Russian, each with its own voice and script. Suitable when the text differs between markets.
The Notice
The recording message is spoken in Romanian, in Russian, or in both, depending on the line the call comes in on.
The result
The transcript keeps the spoken language, and the summary for the team can be written in the language you work in.

  • From the voice engine, not promised by default

The voice engine (Eleven v3 / v3 Conversational) supports over 70 languages. We test them on your scenario before including them in an offer.

  • English

For an international line, an English-speaking agent can be set up, with a separate voice and script, tested on your case.

  • Voice and model

Natural pronunciation depends on the chosen voice and the scenario. What works for your case we find out from test calls, not from the list.

Frequently asked questions

Can the agent understand a mix of Romanian and Russian?

Yes, switches from one language to another are common in calls with bilingual customers and we test them on each project. Very mixed phrases can be harder to understand; we catch them in test calls.

What language does the agent answer in?

In the language set in the scenario, or in the language spoken by the caller, if the agent is allowed to switch languages.

How many languages does Kallina support?

Over 70, powered by the Eleven v3 / v3 Conversational voice engine. Romanian and Russian are the languages we use every day, with native pronunciation; we test any other language on your case before we promise it.

Is the voice in Russian different from the one in Romanian?

It can be the same voice or a different one. We choose the voice based on how it sounds in each language on test calls.

Call the agent in both languages

At the demo, speak to it in Romanian, then in Russian, using your scenario.
